Starting May 1, 2013, Airphil will fly to Basco, Batanes 3 times a week.
Airphil flights to Banates will leave every Monday,Wednesday and Friday at 5:05 Am from the NAIA Terminal 3. Arrival in Basco, Batanes is estimated at 6:50 AM.
Return flights from Basco to Manila is scheduled at the same days at 8:40 am and will arrived in NAIA terminal 3 at 10:20 AM.

Some of the must see Batanes Tourist spots include:
- Mt. Iraya- famous volcano best for trekking and hiking.
- Orchid Island where you can see Taiwan on a clear day.
- Di-atay beach- a beautiful cove with white sands
- Radar Tukon- the weather station built on top of a hill
- House of Dakay: Oldest Ivatan House in Batanes
- Historical churches like the San Jose Church and the San Carlos Borromeo Church.
