CAAP Lifts ZESTAIR Suspension and Flight Ban

The  Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines or (CAAP) has just lifted the ban on the operations of Zestair or Zest Airways.

The budget airlines was ordered to stop their operations after investigations showed that Zestair failed to comply with safety standards and procedures such as flying without any qualified accountable managers and re-fueling with the passengers still on board the plane.

The ban on Zestair was given last August 16, 2013.

It was said that the accountable manager for the said airline quit his job last Kuly 19, 2013.

CAAP suggested that Zestair will be given back its permit once all their safety procedures has been reviewed and all of their shortcomings being corrected.
